Sleep deprivation can become a problem when you find yourself zoning out, irritated, and uncomfortable. If you haven't gotten at least 32 hours of sleep in the past 4 days, it is a problem.

Sleep deprivation is when your mind stops your body from getting its 8 hours sleep. I guess some get only 5 hours sleep. I guess it can be a problem when you can't concentrate, or that you do get to work or obligations on time. Or that it starts to affect other parts in your life like your relationships or your health.

Sleep deprivation was something i struggled with .. primarily because i was a perfectionist and workaholic ..

It becomes a problem when it affects your daily quality of life, and when all you can ever think about is how tired you are or how bad you wish you were in bed sleeping. It becomes a problem when you cannot focus and appreciate your present life because all you can ever think about is how much you want to close your eyes and take a nap.
