Yes, in my experience, any actions taken with the intent to be in pain count as self-harm. This includes very excessive amounts of exercise in order to break down one's body with no intention of letting it heal, something I have personal experience with.

Yes, using acid to burn yourself would definitely count as self-harm. Any action that you take with the deliberate intention to cause yourself harm falls under the umbrella of self-harm.

Yes it does count as self harm because you are causing harm to yourself. If you are struggling with self harm please seek treatment from a mental health professional. Or perhaps talk to one of our listeners about different coping mechanisms. Burning yourself with acid is very dangerous just like self harm you risk severe bodily harm that can be fatal or disabling.
