Yes, of course it counts. Anything that will harm you mentally or physically counts as self-harm if done self-willingly by the user.

Self-harm (SH), also known as self-injury, is defined as the intentional, direct injuring of body tissue, done without suicidal intentions.
If it was done intentional without suicidal intentions it might be classified as self-harm.

Yes it does. It affects your well being and it does hurt you. Therefore the word "self-harm". Acid is usually worse than other options, so I would recommend to not do it.

Of course! Any type of self-inflicted harm is self-harm no matter the method. If it is you that uses the acid to hurt yourself, or even you telling someone else to use acid on your skin is considered self-harm.
