Any act of self-harm is just that, harming yourself on purpose. The main acts of self-harm people see and know about it cutting, bruising, or burning themselves. If you are using acid to burn yourself, yes, that is a form of self-harm.

It does. Burning and cutting yourself are two major self harm issues. It's important to seek help immediately if this is a common thing that you're doing. You don't want to get an infection from the burn nor do you want to be scarred.

It does count! Just because you are not cutting, does not mean your self harm is less real or less valid. Self harm happens in many different forms. Some abuse drugs and alcohol, some never look when they are crossing the street and some use acid to burn themselves.
