I just got diagnosed with PTSD but I feel like I am really okay with what happened. How can I figure out what the point is that my mind didn't process well?

Sometimes retracing the trauma is useful by writing down exactly what happened and your thoughts and feelings if you can remember at that time. Have you ever had trauma debriefing?

Counseling is always a good idea to help sort out thoughts. Finding a counselor who has significant experience in PTSD is a great resource to help you with this question. Finding a listener of 7 cups that has extensive experience with PTSD may be able to help you sort out your thoughts and feelings, but are unable to give advice or diagnose. Being there are varying symptoms and degrees of PTSD, you may find that addressing your experience or your symptoms may be something very beneficial in pin pointing how your mind protected you during your trauma, yet is impacting you today.
