It's interesting how pain and sorrow tend to be perceived as exclusive. I think it belongs to the way we try to cope with these feelings. When we feel hurt, the idea that what happens to us doesn't happen to anybody else, eases the idea we're not feeling completely understood. If my pain is unique, no wonder I feel so lonely in my pain and nobody can make the difference. I'm sure there's a forum with a thread that resonates with you: give it a try and reach out — you'll see there's a lot of people sharing your own views if not directly your own issues.
