I personally experience negative feelings after waking up, because waking up means coming back to reality. No more dreams, time to face the real world. And in all honesty, the real world is scary. You never know what's going to happen. That's why it's okay to be scared. You just can't let your fear determine what you do with your day.

You're probably waking up feeling scared because you have anxiety. Anxiety impacts how well you sleep at night. If you're waking up worried in the middle of the night about the future, you should consider seeing a therapist about your sleep problems. It would help a lot!

It is completely normal for anyone to wake up feeling scared or fearful about the future. Anticipation often causes strong feelings of anxiety which can be easily overcome through mindfulness and relaxation techniques. But most importantly, you have to believe in yourself. These feelings of dread are just thoughts and they may or may not be real or true at all. We are all guilty of imagining the worst case scenario. But in the end the only thing that matters is how we overcome these obstacles. So next time you wake up feeling scared or anxious about the day ahead, just pause for a second and think to yourself "I am strong, I can battle these feelings, they are just empty and meaningless thoughts, and I am determined not to let them take over my life and my happiness!"

It is human to worry about the future. You just have to tell yourself that what happens will happen and all you can do is try your best to make your worries not come true.
