It depends. You may want to tell somebody about it is you havent already. I would suggest seeing a doctor and trying to do breathing techniques as well.

Well we all suffer from different emotions and it does affect our physical health in many ways. When an individual feels hurt or dejected, disappointed to be more exact or just really anxious it is normal to have an uneasy feeling in the chest. Like at times its hyperventilation or just acidity. Apart from that it could be a medical issue as well.

It can be sign of many aliments if it feels like your chest is burning. For any chest pain it is advisable to see the doctor. It can be virus infection, sign of heart disease (angina pectoris, imminent heart attack, etc), sign of upper back issues (back pain can flare into the chest). These and many other diseases have to be ruled out before one can tell you that everything is ok with you if you feel like your chest is burning. It can be very serious or maybe not so serious. I wouldn't hesistate to see your chosen doctor.
