There is always happiness that can be felt, you must allow yourself to really listen to your dreams. If you are doing something that is not creating happiness in your life, do not fall into despair.. you just need to make some alterations in your day to allow change. Give yourself time to see that no matter what situation or obstacle you face in your life, there is a happy outcome that can be achieved in all negative ones. Do not allow your vision to be obscured by the obstacle, instead allow it to search for the outcome.

I feel that way a lot too, what helped me was to spontaneously do things that i know i love and make me happy. If it's something planned then through time you'll lose interest and when its that day ts not that exciting, in my experience. i hope this helps!

This is a tough situation to be in - it's very easy to lose faith in ever finding happiness. First, you must identify if this lack of happiness is caused by one specific thing or situation, or if it stems from a lack of passion in general. If you can recognize that this lack of happiness comes from one problem, you must take steps to reduce or eradicate the presence of that one thing in your life. If there is no direct cause that you can identify, you must seek to broaden your interests. This may require going out of your comfort zone. Try joining a local book club, taking a yoga class, or even going out to a coffee place on your own. Meet new people or meet up with older friends; share passions; watch movies; read blogs - do anything that will increase your knowledge on things in your life that you have not yet considered. With all these steps in mind, it is absolutely necessary that a change in mindset takes place. Though it sounds completely cliche, a lot of your mood depends on your outlook and/or perspective on your life and other lives. Finally, re-asses your environment: the things you do, the workplace environment, the people you surround yourself by, and your day-to-day routine. Make sure that all of the above are things that make you content. Good luck!
