Compromising with your love doesn't tell your heart that you are sad. Everybody is different, you, are the difference of all that you can be.

I am sad to hear that. You may feel this way because you are at a turning point in your life, it is also possible that you are suffering from depression.

Feelings, thoughts, and emotions are overlapping but in times of sadness we only see the overlapping areas and not the thought, etc In order to have the positive thoughts we need to practice the self help coping techniques we learn about in recovery, and take a moment to center yourself. Keep working on the foundation and soon you will be able to function in more areas of your life.

Well, sadness is a part of life - whether we like it or not. If not for sadness there will be no happiness. We feel sad maybe because we lost something or someone very important to us. And it may be hard for us to overcome it but only if we look deeper, sadness is actually something that will give us strength to move forward and the power to look back on our memories and feel stronger than before. Because if we don't feel sadness, there will be no way for others to know that we need them to be with us. In short - the joy of knowing people have your back is something that sadness gives us. :)

Sadness is often linked with stress, life circumstances and genetics. The reason you may feel so sad in life, could be that stress has taken a toll on you and there is a raise in cortisol(stress hormone). It could be that you are depressed and there are circumstances in your life that have taken a turn or you could have a mental illness. This is a common occurence amongst the human population, but sometimes deviates in severity(mild sadness-major depressive disorder). To put into simple terms, stress and/or depression is the reason.

Self-reflection is key. Write down a list of things that make you feel constantly frustrated, angered, or bummed out. Then, write down a list of things that you can count on to make you feel satisfied or content with your life. Do your very best to rid your life of the things on the first list, and increase the amount of time you spend with things on the second list. If necessary, talk to someone you can trust to help with reducing the things in your life that make you sad. Best of luck to you!

You feel that way because you forget to laugh. You forget to laugh at life and instead you embrace sadness.
