If you are having a hard time getting through a day, try to focus on taking small steps. It may seem trivial when you manage to get yourself out of bed when you're feeling shitty, but try to see it as an accomplishment. Acknowledge that you did something RIGHT, however small it may be. A little spark of positivity will help you make it through the day! :)

It works differently for all but dole common and very helpful methods are: waking up with a feeling to begin the day with a fresh mind. Keeping your day scheduled and organised. For motivation, you can try writing words like hope or faith or strength etc, on the back of your hand where you can see it at any time and feel good or you can have a post it or a piece of paper with motivational quotes or reasons to feel good written on it and put on a wall or surface where you can see it at any time :)

Making a to-do list is a great way of reminding yourself about things you want done on or by a certain date. Accomplishing a simple task and marking it off on the list can be very theraputical.

Thinking ahead to the future really helps me a lot! Imagining what I wanted to happen to me in the near future keeps me focus on mybpresent activities. For me this is very effective!

Sometimes, all we can do is focus on one day at a time. And that's ok; that's how lives are lived. Some things that help me are to find something, anything, that I'm even the least bit excited about or enjoy. Schedule time at the end of your day to do that thing, whether it be watching the latest episode of your favorite tv show, or listening to your favorite album for the eleven hundredth time. If I'm feeling a little bolder, I'll think about something that is coming up in the next few days or weeks. For example, I really love football, so I'll try to focus on a game that I'm excited to see or attend. It doesn't have to be big, meaningful stuff. Even the tiniest things can bring the tiniest amount of joy into our lives to help motivate us to keep going.

It's hard to do at first, but in time it becomes easier. Stop, breathe, and ground yourself in the present. Mindfullness exercises will help if you try those.

It can be extremely difficult to remain positive instead of succumbing to sadness, hopelessness and emptiness which can leave you doing nothing for a long time. It helps to have a list of your goal and what you would like to achieve during the day. A sense of purpose that reminds you that your efforts are not in vain and really do mean
Something. Keeping that in mind all the time can be really hard esckevially when things start to go south or you experience a trigger that changes everything. But reminding yourself with that list can really help when you can’t remmeber why you’re doing anything anymore. Just pause, breathe, reflect, and encourage yourself for tying to move forward!
