Looking at human history, more groups were suffering before, which would have been unacceptable or unthinkable nowadays. A lot of people still get discriminated, abused mentally and physically just because they belong to a group. We'll get there. It's up to us to be accepting, show others how to do the same, and teach our children.

I hope one day we could. I feel like we are getting there. Times are changing, people are more open about themselves, and others are "forced" to deal with it. One day, there would be no need to "deal with it", hopefully.

I have always wondered the same thing. That would be the ideal world, but sadly not everyone agrees. I think people who don't agree, don't know so they are scared. If that makes sense. I feel that they are prejudiced, and are scared of the unknown. When in reality, a person should just do whatever makes them happy. I wish everyone would understand. But, one person at a time, maybe we can make people understand.

It's difficult to answer that question, as the answer is that we should be able to. If it's any consolation, there is progress in some parts of the world, and hopefully equality will continually spread and advance.

thats a great question. unfortunately, so many people are afraid of what is different. i know its not fair. i have been through my fair share of hate because of sexuality too. just stay true to your self. be who you are and dont let anyone bring you down. i wish you all the best. stay strong

Some people were raised with the idea the being gay is wrong. A lot of people were raised with the idea that being gay is a sin, according to their religion. When people are raised to think this, it can be difficult for them to see the other side of things and reconsider a viewpoint that they've had their whole life.

Because ignorant people still exist. They don't understand what it's like and never will to a degree. I believe in a few generations we will finally get there but only if we spread awareness of the issue.

We can't. Why? Religion, tradition, and apparently "by the laws of nature". I wish we all could live in a world of tolerance, though.

I personally wish everyone was treated as a human regardless of sexuality. Unfortunately, we live in a very judgmental society that is consumed with politics and discrimination. And everyone believes that their opinion is the ONLY one that is morally right.

The way I see it is that the human mind is very complicated. We tend to judge things based on our beliefs and what we grew up with. In time, whether or not we decided to accept certains depends on experiences that challenge our perception. Just as there are many personalities in this world, there are many opinions towards various human conditions including sexuality.
