Speaking to your GP will help, they will have to correct and most up to date information regarding trans inclusive support, they will most likely refer you to your community mental health team and from there you will receive specialist support. If you're not comfortable with going to your GP, you could always have a friend/ family member do this for you, or someone you trust if you're not so confident.

It can be a struggle sometimes but start in your community. If your LGBT group doesn't support trans, ask them for references to someone or some group that does. Ask your doctor or any other health practitioner for references not only to other practitioner but if they maybe know of places that are trans inclusive. If you can't find anything location there is always the internet.

Try doing a search on "trans-inclusive health care?" + your area? Also try joining local trans groups on social media and ask where the best places to get health care in your area are.

Certain therapists on the psychology today search function will indicate that they specialize in transgender issues. Also, there's the RADremedy database. I don't know how helpful it would be but there is stuff on there. Other sources would probably be asking around/the local transgender support groups. Good luck!
