You spread awareness by supporting the LGBTQ community. Some small things might include not shopping at known anti-LGBTQ shops. Sport a rainbow bracelet. Social media (Twitter, Facebook) is a GREAT way to spread LGBTQ awareness.

I think a great way to do this is by just talking about it! Show that you are a member of the community and that there are problems that we face being in this community! Another good way is to get involved in your community to spread awareness by doing little things like fliers or something! Hope this helps! "\ml/"

Look in your area for lgbt community groups and connect with people like you. They can have projects underway you can be a part of to help spread awareness. And like others said, just talking about it will spark people's curiosity and look to understand the community and how they can embrace it if they choose to accept it

Reblogging or posting articles and studies about LGBTQ matters on your Twitter or Facebook can be a really good way to spread awareness among your social circles! You can also look into helping charities that work in that particular field and see if there is anything you can offer them.

i spread awareness by promoting safe work places. i have personally come up with an inclusive language policy that makes sure people are reprimanded should they use offensive language or words such as "gay, queer" etc in a derogatory manner.

If you're outgoing and don't mind seeking in front of a lot of people, you can try to organise an event where you can talk about it. Or if you're in school, you can make a presentation about it in front of other students. And if you're shy and not really outgoing, just educating your friends and relatives is spreading awareness as well and you're gonna do a great job. Start with small steps, bring it up in conversations when you have the opportunity. If you educate only one person, you're still doing a great job :)

The Toronto pride parade is really amazing and definitely gets a lot of attention! You can also join a local club at school or somewhere else in your community. Social media posts also help a lot as well :)

Hello!
The one way i would personally spread LGBTQ awareness would depend on my age and where I live the best way I can see around it is to maybe go to pride events and raise awareness by joining in the activities available. Another way I would recommend this is to maybe hold a pride day in work or college which is where everyone has to dress in rainbow clothes to raise awareness for the LGBTQ. I came out as a Lesbian at 18 and since then I have never been happier, maybe to spread awareness get people like me who came out at a certain age and let them tell there stories!
