What do you do when you have to buy Christmas gifts for a parent who always breaks or ruins what you get them? Everything I ever buy for my Mom she completely destroys, loses or breaks it.

Hello. I think giving gifts is not a must, if you do not want to give her a present, it is ok not to do it. Do you talk to her about it ? Maybe you could talk to her about it, and say it bothers you. Do you want to give a gift anyway ? Do you like doing it ? If your issue is only the loss of the gift, maybe offering food or something like that could be an alternative ?
