A very important part of meditation is your breathing. Focus on your breathing. "Breathe in" "Breathe out" - this will help empty your mind. Become aware of your body as you breathe. Once you start paying attention to what your body is telling you, you'll be able to start getting rid of stress. Breathe in positivity, breathe out negativity.

There are all kinds of resources that may be available to you. You may have a local library that has audio files, books or videos that can be useful to guide you through some practical steps. You could check the App Store on your mobile devices. Additionally, there are a lot of YouTube videos focused on breathing and other techniques that will be able to get you on your way. How do you feel about doing a search in Google to find some resources in your area? You could try keywords such as "meditation" "mindfulness" "tips" "for beginners" "at home" with your zip code or city and state behind it. Finally, you may have some friends who are interested in practicing in a small group. You may be interested in talking with your friends and family about connections you can make to improve your mindfulness, or engage in meditative practice in the comfort of your own home.
