In many cases family therapy can be very beneficial, but that depends on the person. If you are open minded and willing to make changes that will better your relationship with your family members, than yes it can help you.

While there are no guarantees, family therapy can only be a good thing. Group therapy is just a safe environment where people can feel free to share their opinions, feelings, and concerns. In that kind of environment, people can have productive and meaningful conversations, come to a better understanding of one another, and set boundaries and goals for one another. With a therapist there to facilitate, they can perhaps help you to realize and vocalize thoughts you didn't even know you had.

Family therapy could work sometimes. It really just depends on you and your family. It also depends on the therapist.

Family therapy can be a great help if everyone is willing to listen and work on any possible issues. Every person and every family is different, but one of the big things family therapy *can* help with, is communication, which alone can be a lot of help. You're the best one to make that choice, but it definitely works best when everyone going is open to it and willing to be a part of therapy.

It CAN work, and it CAN help... Wether it works for you,or helps you is hard to say just like that. You could always try to make an appointment and see wether you could see yourself doing the therapy or not.

It always depends on if the family is willing to be helped! Family therapy did not work out well for me because my family wasn't comfortable talking so openly in front of each other about their feelings at the time. But it never hurts to try it out! If family therapy doesn't work, individual therapy is your best bet! :)

Family therapy only works if the members of the family let it work. You can only help those who want to be helped. If there are people in your family who just want nothing to do with the therapy session, then it may not be as effective.
