Stop doing things for someone else or getting appreciation from someone. I think we can truly become happy only when we're loving ourselves enough & appreciating our own good work. If you're doing something for someone's validation then you're not doing it right. You, yourself should be enough for your happiness. Take responsibility for whatever your do. Our lives should not be dependent upon someone else. You're doing good & you'll continue doing it only when you're happy with that. Do things for yourself, your happiness. People come go. There was a line from a poem that I remember -
"Men may come & men may go but I go on forever."

Sometimes great things take time, and patience. For instance, when you start a new diet do you see immediate results? No, you have to work at it.

If you are not getting the results you desired, take a step back and evaluate your process. Are you doing something each day to move towards your goals? Are you eating the right foods? Are you stretching and staying hydrated? Even running a mile here or there, or doing push ups every so often is a lot better than doing nothing! Even though you may not be hitting your goals, observe any progress and build upon it! If you could only manage 60 pounds on a certain weights exercise last week, but lifted 65 pounds this week, you're making progress! Keep working hard and use every success as a victory!

Be realistic, it doesn't take one day to get results. Think of the time it took you to get were you are now. Wait for the momentum to catch on! Have fun!

You will see results. Physiologically speaking, there is no way that you won't -- you just have to keep going, and keep going, and not give up. It's like going up a huge, steep, icy hill. You will not reach the top in one split second, you will not see where you are for a while, and you'll slip and fall down if you give up and stop holding on. But then you'll reach the top, and it will be worth all the hard work, and you're going to be so glad that you didn't give up.

The results are probably there just waiting to just come out at a time when you are not really looking for them.

Results do not come instantly. They always take time. Its gradual. Always remember what you want Whenever you feel discouraged. When you give up that's like blocking yourself from getting the results you want
