Generally labeling traumatic experiences dehumanizes the experience. Every person's experience is different and effects them differently. Some people don't remember childhood traumas while others do. It always depends on the individual.

I think so. My traumatic exp took place in early childhood. I grew up with a ruined common sense. I had a hard time figuring out the wrong from the right. Also since it was in early childhood, I had no childhood.

Traumatic experience in childhood can interrupt our development and as children we are far less able to process the traumatic experience but it depends on the help and support offered and received, it is possible to recover from and learn to process it differently so it doesn't have such a large impact on our lives.

Yes. Because you look back and you remember all what took place. It can haunt you and make you sad, upset. That can stop you from many things that’s you want to attain later in life. You feel as if a part of you has been taken away and sometimes might even think it’s your fault even when it is not. You feel guilt because you are part of the family, friends etc. You think about it and it hurts in your soul. That can take over your mind and make you feel sad at any time and it hurts

Depends. Trauma can be very bad and challenging in adults too. Children nevertheless tend to be more vulnerable, as they dont have a lot of coping mechanisms learned. The same situation can be experienced differently intense depending on the understanding of the situation and resilience. Adults tend to acknowledge trauma more often and initiate contraindicators. Children often arent aware of what happened to them, so they carry their trauma for years which can resolve in unhealthy coping mechanisms, serious mental illnesses like depression, anxiety, multiple personalities, OCD and others. The longer those stay untreated, the more severe they can get. So I'd say trauma in children are more likely to leave severe damage to mental health, but that doesnt mean trauma in adults cant. I hope my answer can help you out. If there are any questions left, feel free to ask. Have a nice day!

Often times when we experience trauma during childhood, we aren't fully capable of understanding the trauma we have gone through until later on life and thus aren't able to reach out or get access to help. As an adult, it is easier to address and take action of traumatic events that occur. As a child I had an abusive parent who I could not stand up to and often felt helpless until I became older and was able to distance myself away from them. As children are more vulnerable and easier to control, it is more difficult to go through a traumatic situation as they are innocent and less aware of the world around them.
