I'm paraphrasing Einstein when I say, we are here for but a brief sojourn. For what reason we know not. But we are bound to each other by the ties of humanity. There are days when I can't grasp the reasons for it. But I know ultimately I'm bound to those that love me. To those that have molded me into what it is they see in me. To those that have needed me to be, to be what I am in their eyes, and to exist. To exist. To make existence easier on others is to exist with them. Make it something worthwhile.

You wouldn't have experienced a lot of things yet! There's so much beauty ahead of the four walls you are stuck thinking why do we even need to live. There's so much yet to explore and so little people get to live in the first place to live and explore them. There's scenic beauty you are yet to discover, the wonderful experience of love, the joy of celebrating festivities with loved ones, the amazing feeling of being on top of the world while winning something big or small, the adrenaline rush when you rush down a roller coaster. Make a bucket list have an aim ahead of the basic things like education or work or home or family and make list of things you would get a chance to explore all these amazing things. Life offers a lot of things, a lemon is just a quarter of it, there's much sweetness ahead of it.

Because you are here for a reason. There is still so much more to explore, experience and enjoy. Think of all the people you haven't met yet! All the books you haven't read yet. All the food you haven't tried out yet!! You deserve to see them. Even if it is hard right now, you are stronger than that. And it will get better, if you give it a chance to. You are not here by accident. Things will get better. There will be a day where you look back and are grateful for not giving yourself up. You deserve to live.

Sometimes it feels very painful to keep going. People on this site know that better than many others. It's okay to feel pain and to cry and even to feel like giving up. But why have you kept going thus far? Do you have a job, a brother, a friend who holds you up when you can't? What smells do you like? Rain on a mountain, rosemary on roasted chicken, cookies in the oven, freshly cut grass? What sights make you smile? The view from the top of a peak, your cat when you come home, a lizard on the sidewalk, a pretty bird? Sometimes all we have to keep us grounded are the tiny things that remind you to take a deep breath. It's okay to hang onto moments to get through a journey.

I know that some times, if not most of the time we don't see a reason for being here anymore. I have felt that way for a while but I have found that just the thought of never being here to the snow fall or stars in the sky and all the weird and crazy things about the people i know that i would really miss. I can't tell you your reasons to keep living because i don't know you but I can promise that if you at least try even if it is the smallest reason you need to keep fighting

I often ask myself this as well. Many say the purpose of life is to die and repeat the cycle. However, the more optimistic people believe how we live our lives is also important. While this is an overused and somewhat cliche phrase, it has some meaning. You could spent your entire time believing that life is useless, or you could try to just go along with it. Even though everyone has to die someday, you could do something to help those who come after you. Something to make the newcomers to life not believe that there is no use to life.

There has always been that nagging question that everyone has questioned at least once at some point in their lives.
There may or may not be an answer. Nobody truly knows. What we all do know though is that we are here and we are living now, that is fact.
The most important part of life I believe is to live it's full potential, questioning its existence allows us to realise how much time we really have left. This realization is what strives us to continue to want to live, love and learn before its too late.
It's okay to question it as long as it doesn't negatively affect your daily life, at which point it becomes unhealthy.
Wishing you the very best 🙂

Think back to a time when you didn't feel like there was no point in living. Even if it was a long time ago. What was different then? What were the reasons you stayed alive? No reason is too small. Think of the things, however small, that bring some joy or comfort. Stay for those things. Next, what would a life worth living look like to you? If you were to wake up tomorrow at not feel this way, what would be different? Maybe you would have different achievements or more friends. Whatever it is, that is a reason to stay alive. Those are things to strive for.

Even when I feel like I’m utterly useless, I try to think of the people that care about me, even if I don’t feel like they do. Sometimes we just feel down in the dumps, and that can be really challenging, since it can make us loose our will to live, but it can and will get better. While you might not know it, there are many people who love you for who you are, and would be ruined if you Where to forever leave them. Life is often very difficult, but sometimes, it can be very beautiful, precious even.

There is so much more to experience and so much more to do. Things do get better, eventually, and even if you don't want to keep living right now, there will be a time in the future where you see beauty or happiness and be glad that you kept living. You're unique among billions and losing you is a blow to the world. You will grow. You will have new experiences and meet people. You have so much potential and even if things are going badly right now and giving up seems appealing, trust me, it isn't worth it. It will never be worth it because you are an asset to this world. Don't give up!
