Why does the whole concept of living have to be so hard on us all?

To me, the concept of living is a lot of suffering, and I don't think there is much we can do to get away from that as a whole. Morbid, right? I kind. But it doesn't have to be all bad. There is still a lot of good in life and a lot of amazing things happening, if we only stop and look for them. I think of life as a challenge to see past how hard it is and do more than simply survive or exist. I know it can be hard; so many of us here are suffering from mental illnesses, survivors of traumatic experiences, living with chronic illness, and sometimes it's hard to see past that. Sometimes all we can do is get out of bed to lie on the couch, and that's okay. Maybe tomorrow I'll make it out the door.

The concept of living can be hard because some people have forgotten how to live. Some people just exist, and simply existing can be hard because of all the trials and tribulations that come with it. The concept of living is what you make it to be. Do things that make you happy, things that make you laugh and things that you never want to forget. The way to make living more enjoyable is to live rather than simply exist!

Life can have its trying times, however it is worth it when you see the world for what it really is, good. You can find that in a pet's loving face, a stranger's gentle smile, or even just outside with the warm sun shining down on you.

I like to say, giving up is easy but Living is hard. We sometimes don't feel like we can carry on, but our instincts should continue to push us. Nothing in life worth having is easy.

It's not the concept that's hard, it's the day to day grind. Apparently it's not hard on some people though? I don't understand those people.

Living is something we all have a different view on, like how living should be and what we should do in order to be considered as living.

Human beings have evolved past the point where they're (depending on situation, of course) necessarily always having to think about survival. Living makes sense when it's the only goal you have. Instead, a lot of people now have the time and the brain space to ask questions like this, to be bothered by the idea of having a purpose. It's very difficult to deal with sometimes, but at the end of the day, there's also a definite beauty to that. We know we don't really have a purpose and constantly struggle with that...and yet we carry on anyway? That's crazy, that's so cool. We do things even though it doesn't matter at all, we just keep fighting anyway. That's pretty awesome

Because people are unable to take the pressure. It is not about how hard you hit, its about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward.

because if it was easy then accomplishment and achievement would be impossible. And easy life is pointless, always remember that.
