That my friend, is why it's called depression. It's a disorder that brings you down literally, all your hormones that supply happiness are down therefore you feel helpless. However, you shouldn't feel that way. We are here for a reason, *you* are here for a reason, depression or no and you have to remember that there is at least one person out there--including me--that wants you to exist.

Depression is a mental disease that will tell you that you are worth nothing, that you shouldn't exist but remember that this is not you, that those are not your thoughts. Depression can be compared to a black cloud looming over your head. You must take it, accept it, and morph it into a black dog that you hold onto tightly and you take the lead with and keep under control. You must learn to live with it but you will prevail and you must take my word when I say that your life is worth living and you are valuable.

Everything will be okay in the end, if it's not okay, it's not the end. Sometimes when it seems as if everything that could possibly go wrong is going wrong, we feel that we will be stuck in this negative, downtrodden rut forever. Sure the sun stops shining sometimes, and we may get a huge thunderstorm or two, but eventually the sun will come out to shine again. It is all a matter of us staying as positive as possible in order to make it to see the sunshine. If we let our negative circumstances, turn our positive thoughts into negative actions, it will take us longer to see the sun. If we reinforce our positive thoughts when we feel negative ones coming along it will seem as though the sun took no time to come. Ground yourself, look for the good in who you are, and in the situation, and remember to motivate yourself with your dreams. Stay positive my friend, for everything will be alright, maybe not today, but eventually!
