Feeling down doesn't have to do with that's happening in your life. Sometimes it's ok to feel down for no particular reason.

Think back of what you have accomplished during the last weeks. What made you happy and what are you proud of? Also list what you'd like to improve or what you are having doubts about. What would you like to change about your current situation? It is also important to watch your mental as well as your physical health. Get enough sleep, eat proper meals, excercise from time to time, go outside, meet your friends. Do something good for yourself, whatever you like, take a bath, buy a new book, reward yourself with something. If you constantly feel down it would be better to go see a doctor or even a therapist. Sometimes there are physical reasons, e.g. the lack of some vitamine or a hormone dysfunction. Sometimes humans just feel sad, even though everything's going well. You don't need a reason to be in a bad mood or feel down. Make sure you don't put too much pressure on yourself.

There are days when one tends to feel low without any reason and it is absolutely normal to feel so. There could be several reasons like the changing weather outside, vitamin deficiency, hormonal changes etc. One may consider opting for a healthy diet or taking a vacation for a change. If the feeling continues beyond 2 weeks it is advisable to reach out to a therapist.

Sometimes you're sad for no reason at all, that's how depression works. The chemicals in your brain start malfunctioning and all of a sudden, you're depressed. It's not your fault or anything you should blame yourself for, it's just apart of life for some people. If you can sort through it all, and stay strong somehow, than that would be an amazing accomplishment but something no one expects of you.

When everything is going well, I feel down because I'm scared that happiness doesn't last forever.. but you have to think about it. Sadness doesn't have to last forever in your mind either. I think we all are on our own pursuit of happiness; it'll take time and willpower, but we'll make it

Sometimes life cannot always be perfect no matter if everything seems to be. Feeling numb or down can be due to a chemical imbalance so there doesn’t always need to be a reason for you to feel down. Perhaps you are feeling depressed or maybe struggling with getting joy from things. Know that this is common and there are so many ways to help with this feeling. You may not be dealing with things as well as you thought which is why you’re feeling down. You do not need to justify this feeling as there isn’t always a solid cause, this feeling may pass or may need to be explored further.
