No it is not. One doesn't think about ending one's life if one isn't unhappy with it. Maybe you feel you can't get anything done, feel goalless. But that is what you FEEL and not necessarily a true reflection of reality. It's ok to feel down and sad sometimes. But if you are feeling suicidal, on a regular basis or not, you should seek professional help. Only a professional can properly guide you through your emotions. You can also keep yourself sorrounded by positive people - good friends, family members. Don't forget to smile and have a good day!

Normal or anormal isn't the point. Thinking about suicide everyday has one or several serious topics in the background causing such thoughts. If such topics exist, it isn't anormal to think about suicide daily, but still it is essential to tackle the underlying issue to not let them grow further, but resolve them. It could be important to consult a therapist for support!

It all depends on who you are and what your situation. People who have mental health issues, such as depression, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia often do think about death and/or suicide constantly. I would recommend getting yourself checked it you do think about suicide that often. From my personal experience, having bipolar disorder, I tend to overthink about things for months and one day just act recklessly on the thoughts, so when I have suicidal thoughts I know to talk to someone or seek help as soon as possible. I really hope that you feel better soon and please try and be safe.

I dont like the word 'normal' but thinking about suicide every day may not be healthy for your state of mind. Suicide should always be taken seriously and you should talk to a trusted adult or therapist.

The short answer is no. Suicide isn't something the average person thinks about too often. Stressors or mental health issues can cause it to be more common. If you experience passive suicidal thoughts (no intent), this may be something to work through by means of asking yourself why you think those things and what comfort/distress it brings. Also, teaching yourself to think a better thought is easier than you might think. If you experience active suicidal thoughts (intent), then I would consider reaching out to a professional, a supportive family member, or a close friend, for further and ongoing support when those thoughts come up. Don't underestimate how much a professional can offer.

No. If a person is thinking about suicide daily, they need to confide in a trusted adult that can help them get the help they need. Suicide is never the answer.

It might be normal for some people and it isn't normal for others. It is not, however, healthy and okay to think about suicide everyday. There are plenty of suicide hotlines that you can call to talk to trained professionals about that situation, as well as therapists here that can help you.

I do not believe it is normal to think about suicide everyday. People turn to suicide when they feel that there is nothing left in life, but that is not the case, and it is horrible if someone feels that way

No it is not normal to think about suicide every day. For a couple of years this was my normal, however with counselling, medication and other important tools I now have days and sometimes weeks without thinking about suicide. I realized that thinking about it all the time was more draining than I realized and how grateful I was that I reached out for help.

Thinking about suicide and death is normal. However, thoughts of suicide and wanting to commit suicide are two very different things. If you find yourself thinking of suicide constantly, or if you find yourself planning any kind of harmful acts on yourself, I strongly recommend seeking professional help to relieve yourself of these thoughts.
