Depression can be different. For some people depression is the result of breakdowns, for others is the result of family discussions. And that affects in different ways depending the person who suffer it.

I guess it can differ from person to person. For example it can cause insomnia in one person, but another person can simply sleep too much in order to avoid being conscious. So i think basic characteristics will be the same, but everybody has something specific added to it.

For many people Depression is not the same. People experience depression on very different levels with many different causes. Their symptoms won't always be the same as others or they might be worse or better. It all depends really on the person.

Depression is different for each person, it is entirely related to personal experiences, however some sypmtoms are quite similar for all the people affected. But the treatment should be specific for each patient

Depression is not the same for everyone and that is expected since everyone's brains are different. There are also different scientific levels and classifications of depression, such as seasonal depression, chronic depression, moderate depression, dysthmja, depressive episodes, etc. It is sort of a broad and fascinating thing, in a depressing way. Depression can also grow and ebb. Some people may experience severities others don't. Some people may experience additional symptoms others don't. Depression is a very complex animal that can be completely different for absolutely every single different person. There is no one cure all for every person and it’s important to share every detail of what you think and feel with a professional. As difficult as it can be, it’s only when we allow ourselves to be completely honest with both ourselves and the person or people trying to help that help can truly begin. This may begin a long road to recovery, but that road will seem less daunting and get easier as long as you keep going. You may find the answer that helps you immediately, or it might take a long time, but what is the most very most important is that you do not give up.

Depression can be different for each person and - perhaps more importantly - be different within each person depending on the day. One of the more challenging aspects of depression is the different ways it can manifest. Even when I am very depressed, I am dressed nicely with my hair done. I may sleep for 14 hours in a given day, but I will be dressed nicely. The important thing is to identify what depression looks like for you. Is it sleeping too much? Lying on the couch watching reruns while life goes on around you? Are you crying all of the time? Eating non-stop or not eating at all? Depression can be very personal and it is important to identify how it appears for you.

Depression can look different for different people. Like any mental health condition there is a range from mild to moderate to severe. You may share similar characteristics with certain individuals or have contrasting characteristics. How each person copes with depression can vary whether it be healthy (mindfulness, prayer, seeking emotional support from friends and family , having a routine such as exercise , good healthy eating and sleep, journalling) or unhealthy (sex, drugs, alcohol to fill up a void).
