I've found the most support by creating (anonymous) social media accounts which I use to speak about my situation and connect with others in similar situations all over the world.

I've always found that speaking with someone who understands and has been through the same struggles is usually best. Depression hotlines and Support group settings are always a good option. Try reaching out to your community center to see if they have, or can direct you to, any alternate forms of support.

Professionals such as therapists can provide real ongoing support. Also, previous/current sufferers are more likely to validate rather than contradict what you are feeling.
