Depression is like being encased in water. You can still walk around but when you do you see no one else is surrounded by water. The water has immense pressure crushing your chest and the water slowly suffocates you. When you run out of air and start to lose consciousness, you do not fully go under. You are left in between consciousness and death until you can escape from the water

I would describe my depression as something I like to keep private. I consider my bad life choices to be the cause of my state of mind. I would say I woke up to my ACT and then became embarrassed by my own former self. If I could wipe the slate clean and start over I would count my blessings every day and realise that not everything is my fault. I would also acknowledge that I am a pretty okay person and I didn't need to be always playing to win. Find my passion and do that thing every day and be happy that it doesn't feel like work. To feel whole and complete and be surround by love one who want us to succeed as we do them is pretty dam amazing. Also I would know the most important job in the world! I would not listen to other people's opinions as these have in turn been my truth rather then following my gut reaction. My depression is caused mostly by my seeming to be over confident when the truth is I was breaking inside. Life is hard. We all need to surround ourselves by the people that truly want us to win= feel the love and be happy.

Depression is the absence of being able to really feel anything besides it. It can be overwhelming and nothing all at once, most of the time it is just exhausting... Moving on from depression is being able to see the world in color instead of just grey and bland all the time, it's experiencing things to a more full degree because depression can take that away from people. I'd describe it as life but with a thousand percent more static and discomfort. I'd describe it a thousand ways before I'd wish it on someone, but it's not anyone's fault for having it.

Depression is cruel. People say to head for the light at the end of the tunnel, but when you're depressed there is no light. Everything is pitch black. You are lost and alone, even if you know other people are there next to you you can't see them. You second guess what you thought you knew. People might keep telling you "just head for the light, can't you see it?" but you can't see any light anywhere. Thats what depression feels like.

Depression..not the romanticized version..It is the darkest kind of dark, the kind that intoxicates your brain and turns your best friends to enemies, your family to people you simply push away so they don’t have to hurt just because you do. It is the raw feeling of emptiness, the kind that gnaws at your very insides and leaves you nothing more than a walking skeleton, incapacitated and incapable of feeling anything but sorrow and sadness for nobody but yourself. Depression is the deepest hole you could ever think of, the only one you could ever think of because you dug it yourself. It is being not only unable, but unwilling to pull yourself up, having the darkness swallow you whole. Depression is not rain. It is being unable to see the sun, even after the rain has passed.sadness is not the same as depression sadness is a temporary feeling depression lives on inside of you like a mental cancer that feeds on your happiness. depression is not a trend, it’s not fun or cool to have. It kills your mind and all motivation until it’s all you think you have. then it eats at you so that you feel like you’re nothing in just barely a being in not alive not dead but somewhere in the middle.depression is feeling numb and empty inside. It’s drowning in your thoughts.it’s not being able to cry but dying inside.it’s always there.even when the sun comes out it still follows you like your shadow.it’s when you feel like running away but you’re stuck.nothing matters anymore.life..death..heartbreak..happiness..none of these has any meaning at all..you feel there’s no meaning in life or death or in anything.it’s a struggle.only you can win your depression but you don’t know how or even if that is possible.but you gotta keep going.suicide is not the solution.speak out!there are others feeling the same thing..you might not find the solution but neither are you going to find it if you die..it’s a battle with yourself and you have to win.SPEAK OUT!
