For me, scheduling and planning helps to manage my stress. I find it calming to map things out, even if they don't end up that way! I also try to practice breathing techniques, as well as taking time to take a bath or put on some lotion and take care of me for a bit.

When I feel stressed I make sure to take some time for myself. I do something pleasant, whether it's treating myself to a small snack, or taking a few cleansing breaths or listening to my favorite song. It's very important to unwind before taking on new challenges.

With school, I always took one day at a time, I broke down months into days, and terms into weeks and made sure I always did something relaxing after school, and kept on top of my work so that I always had one day free to do something I enjoyed. As for living, it takes it out of you, especially when youre dealing with challenges. Again, I broke my months into weeks, and made a list of things to do for the week. I broke down my life into 4 parts, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual, and identified things in those areas I felt I needed to work on. I hope things get easier.
