It's very possible. I've made it by looking for balance within, meeting my own needs and loving myself(my inner child) unconditionally

Yes it is possible.
The real truth of the world is that you are your best friend.
Answer to all the questions is within. All happiness is within. All the creativity is within, All the power is within. All the abundance is within. What ever you want, it is within.
So, in case you want to fight depression without friends and family, try going within yourself. This can be done using meditation.
You can win this entire world using the power which is within you and the depression is not a big thing to win.
BUT the only thing required is a positive attitude and strong self confidence on yourself.
So stay happy, stay strong, stay motivated.
If you can't, at least trying doing this. Initially you may even try to fool yourself. But the thing is believe in your self and start it TODAY.
May the joy be with you :-) !!!

Beating depression is tough, and often comes with a feeling of being alone and unwanted, or even of being a burned to anyone who might want to support you. In my experience, it's also something that you have to do constantly. Depression never seems to fully 'go away' forever, and sometimes it seems like it's just too much for you to face alone.
I've personally battled depression alone, and I would say that I have beaten it a few times without turning to friends or family for support with it directly. Though I found that helping others through depression and just trying to make life the brightest and happiest place I could for everyone around me helped give me reason and purpose, and that gave me the strength to drag myself out of it. Not for myself, but for those around me.

It is possible. I have personally experienced this, as my family threatened to put me into a mental hospital. Because of this I had to hide my depression from them and my "friends" all turned on me. Trust me it was not easy to overcome that depression alone, but I did it. I found that playing a musical instrument helped me channel my emotions into something constructive. Also to go with that, I made a new best friend and started to confide in him. So yes based off my own life I can honestly say it is hard to beat it alone, but it can be done.

First thing to do is to recognize:
1. You have enough strength and desire to overcome these negative emotions by seeking help.
2. It seems like you have had a LOT on your plate. Sometime things happen to you that are out of your control and you mustn't let that lower your image of yourself.
3. YES you can. But often times it is difficult to develop the skills and tools to develop your emotional control! The good news is that you clearly already have the drive and desire to improve! My next step would be to read! Read, read, read. Take as much information as possible and never let anyone tell you that you can't do it (not even yourself!).

Broaden your horizon, don't just think about your problems think outside it. Don't think about a small room, think about a park then go there. Have fun.

Is it possible to beat depression without the support of friends and family? I don't think it is possible to fight depression without family and friends, I think the support of family and friends can be vital as that person will have a greater chance recovering in a speeding manner knowing he/she has love one supporting them. note there are different form of depression like those normal down periods that everyone goes through once in a while, that can be brought on by a rainy day, broken heart, the flu or even for no particular reason. for this some people will listen to music or get themselves engaged in other exercise tat seems to help and within a few days these mood go away.
But there is a clinical form of depression that require all the support you can get from both friends, family, physician and even a supporting group as 7cups listener.
I personal can relate to this form of depression appetite being affected, sleep patterns, lack concentration, sadness, numb, empty feeling, anxiety, hopeless, self-worth, loss of self esteem etc. in summary it actually dominate my life and in order for me to surpass all this I normally seek all the support I can get from friends and family and other sources.
