You could do a Google search for local care homes to volunteer in. If you have a neighbour who is elderly you could pop round to help with house work, shopping, paying the bills.....

You can try to go to places where the elderly are or reside. Such as, Nursing homes, hospitals, Senior living centers, Senior community Centers. These are places where you can go and talk to staff to ask if there are any volunteer positions to talk or help aide with the elderly.

It depends on where you would like to go! Nursing homes would be a great place to go to volunteer and be able to talk with elderly. Also, retirement communities would be another great place to look into!

There are many avenues you can check in to. Often times local hospital, nursing homes, and palliative care centers have volunteer positions you can work in. Many times you will require a criminal records/vulnerable sector check before you start.

Go to a search engine and type in your city or town's name and then something like "volunteer with seniors." Or you could contact individual nursing homes or hospitals about volunteering.

You can volunteer at your local nursing home that gives you the opportunity to provide care for the elderly. By doing so, you will also be able to have conversations with the residents.

There are multiple hospitals and nursing homes who are always looking for "companions" for their elderly residents. Seek out a nursing home and ask how you can submit your time :-)

That's a great idea! Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the community and to speak to the elderly! If the aim for you if to speak to the elderly then volunteering at your local elderly home/care home would be a good idea! Also you could try your local library as well because they sometimes have clubs on that could use some assistance!
