I personally would not just go and tell many people that I am depressed. Saying that, I would only tell people I trust and people that I know would never tell anyone or judge me for how I feel. It is not healthy to keep your emotions in but I would be very careful with who you tell these things to.

Well, it all depends on you, what kind of person you are. When you feel like you want to tell it its better for you becouse you get rid of chains that are taping you. But when you feel scared of telling it to somebody and you just dont want to, you dont have to. But in general it may be better to have somebody to talk with about your feelings, even if you are depressed. It might be hard in the begining to express what's going on in your head but when you'll try to describe your feelings it can get even a little better. So dont be afraid to say what you feel, even just feeling that somebody is listening may help. :)

For this one too, there is no specific answer. But the people that e close to us or those who we deal everyday should be aware of it. They have a huge role in our recovery

Based on my personal experience, you don't need to tell people, who you don't care about much, about your depression. However, it was very very helpful to have someone you trust to talk to. It could be one person or more, it could be a family member or a friend, but bottling all your feelings up will make you feel alone even though there maybe are people you could talk to about it. Anyway you choose, good luck because it is a tough journey but as cliche as it might sound, it will be OK.

I suggest you speak to a therapist or some kind of professional in that field. Because untreated, it just gets worse. Even keeping a diary or speaking to someone about your feelings helps if you don't feel comfortable talking to a professional but I think it's worth it.

You should always speak up whenever you are depressed and/or having thoughts of suicide! By doing this, people around you can give you the help that you need.

Yes, tell someone close to you that you can trust, or talk to a professional. It only gets worse if you hold it in your entire life.

You should but it's your choice, if you don't depression can lead to other things which can harm you worse. I would talk to someone before this happens.
