You don't need to if you dont want to, dont be forced into it if youre not ready to talk about it, but if it affects you to a point where daily routines are being messed up like affectiong you performance at school, or realationship with your friends or spouse or you are unable to do your job and its putting your job in jeopardy, then i do advise you speak about it and get help

It's your choice whether or not you want to tell people you're depressed. Something many people choose to do is share their diagnostic with the people closest to them only. But it's entirely up to you who you want to tell!

No, you don't need to tell someone unless it causes you to harm someone or yourself. Sometimes people can see how depressed you are and help you. I wouldn't go telling people because some people might think you're just seeking attention. Talk to a family member if possible.

No. It is totally up to you who you tell and who you don't. Only tell people if you want to, and feel comfortable doing so. It can be beneficial to tell people so that they can understand what you're going through and support you with it, but like any illness, it is personal and entirely up to you :)

Yes. You don't need to tell everyone but you should tell your parents or a doctor. Just talk to someone. You don't need to let everyone know but a few people should if things go wrong.

No, unless you want to. Depression is a really personal disorder and issue to have, and you don't owe an explanation about it to anyone. You tell people if you want to tell, but take your time and tell when/if it feels right.

No, if you don't feel ready, you absolutely don't need to tell anybody. It's only needed when you feel you're ok to tell the people that you trust, and feel prepared. Don't feel the need to do anything you don't want too.

I believe that It is necessary for certain people (such as family members and close friends) to know the mental stability of someone they genuinely love and are there to support.

You do not to tell people you're suffering of an mental illnes in general. Do people with low blood pressure have to tell everyone they suffer from this illnes? No. Neither do people with depression. But they can. If you feel comfortable with telling someone it's okay to do so. Actually it can be really good for you because maybe this person is there for you if you feel sad and need someone to talk to you or just hold you or something

Communication is definitely key to getting help, it doesn't matter who you talk to just as long as it is someone you feel safe talking to and trust. Also it's great if they know exactly how to make you feel better even just for a moment
