Hello, I was in greek life and there were many members who were bi. It shouldn't affect your experience. Just stay true to yourself and you will find your "home." You will meet many who are alike/ support you throughout college. One of my best friends in greek life was lesbian and she had a great time. Greek life can also open doors to other opportunities for you. Aside from frats, there are other organizations that you can also join if frat life isn't for you. You will attend rush events and get to feel out your fit in each frat before getting a bid. I hope this helps!

I am Gay and have experience with a group like settings similar to a frat. I am currently 21 and am In college. One thing that is important to remember is that many people from many walks of life will be in a frat and that you will most likely have another LGBT member in your frat, as that is statistically the case. I am not sure what you are exactly worried about in particular, but I can understand those feelings of anxiety and worry are common. I would keep in mind that there is a particular mindset in a frat that may be toxic to an LGBT person, depending on what school and atmosphere you attend. I would advise finding people to your liking, and that resonates with you and your personal life. It can be scary, and especially when we do new things we have new emotions and reactions that come with them. But remember that you aren't alone in this and that you will find your way and your own path in due time. You can always bet there is someone out there for you, and friends that will get you and most importantly support you no matter what. Also, come out when you are ready and feel that you are confident in your identity if you haven't already. You'll know when you're ready. Have a good one, regards, Tate.
