I absolutely hate most things about me. I find it hard to believe that people genuinely like me. I have a chronic illness and pain but feel totally useless at times. Can anyone help?

I'm female, 16, with chronic abdominal pain (1.5+ years). I know I don't act like I used to, but I don't believe I'm depressed. I'm just in a lot of pain. Can you have chronic pain without depression?
