I don't think it's possible to change their mind from wanting to break up with you. However, if you did succeed in changing their mind, would it make you happy that they decided to stay with you because you persuaded them? Instead of them staying with you because they wanted to?

You should not try to change their mind. If they want to break up they probably have a good reason for it and it would mean if you kept being in a relationship with them maybe it wouldn't be a healthy one.

Well mostly be true to yourself and be compassionate. Be the person your boy friend or girlfriend is in love with and generally remind them that you'll be there for them

You cannot change their mind like this, but you can change their thinking about you. You can show your affection towards them and just wait till you get positive results.

I'm sorry to tell you, but you can't change their mind because thats their feelings, and if they don't love you and want to break up then they don't deserve you either. There are plenty of other fish in the sea that you will fall in love with.

Main objective here would be to make sure your partners know excatly how you feel about him/her. Make sure they know how much and why you want to be with them. How they make you feel. Although he/she don't want to be with you for any reason what would the point be of actually staying in that relationship? I know it hurts, it will always hurt in the beginning but as time goes by you'll learn to accept the decision and you need to understand it doesn't have to be something about you.

Unfortunately, sometimes you just can't, at least not at the moment. People break up because they are unsatisfied with the relationship, and the relationship is not giving them what they need right now. They want something else. You can't change what the other person wants just as much as you can't force yourself to want something. However, you can change yourself and become a better person. Once you improve yourself, you will not only find yourself more desirable to the person who broke up with you, but this will also open up new opportunities in your life. You will meet new people, have new experiences, and go on new adventures. Good luck!
