This is going to be hard to here, but you can't really change his/her mind. It's his/her own mind, with his/her own synapses and brain tissue. Whatever he/she chooses, you'll have no choice but to accept it. They want to break up because it isn't working out for them for some reason. Chances are it deals with compatibility, and if you have to change who you are to change their mind, then is it really worth it?

If someone wants to break up with you it's never a good feeling, but you can't change the way they feel, similar to how you can't change the way you feel about them. You don't want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you anyways.

You really cant change a persons mind, but you can ask them if maybe you two can rebuild the relationship and fix the problems and just be honest with them they'll appreciate you even if the relationship ends

Instead of trying to change their mind, first find out why they're wanting to end the relationship, and is there any way that the two of you can work on things to salvage it. Sadly not all relationships last, and perhaps your partner feels it's best to move on. If this is the case, realize that it's better for you to move on and meet someone new, then to stay with someone who doesn't want the same things as you do.
