If you are thinking about it then the time is right. If it turns out that you only need a little re-assurance, then you will still have done the right thing by tackling it before it gets worse. In any case, a professional will be better placed to judge your needs and once you have been there you will have a better perspective on your position.

Also, it can take weeks sometimes to schedule with someone good so you may as well go ahead and book it. What's the worst that can happen?
