I love listening to music when i'm dealing with anxiety. It's my own relief, tuning out the rest of the world with my earbuds.

Focus on breathing. Breathe in for 7 seconds, hold it for around 5, and breathe out for 6 to 7. Repeat as needed. Also, imagine that you can relax each part of your body separately. Focus on one area of you and imagine the stress melting away and the peace replacing it. These may keep your mind off of whatever you’re thinking about.

Coming on here and talking about it with a listener can be a good way to ease anxiety. Writing about it in a journal might also help, or doing artwork that expresses your anxiety might help. Therapy is another good suggestion, as a therapist would be trained to help with that, tho therapy is also quite expensive so the first few options are good, low cost (or cost free!) options.

It is always important to try "reconnect" with your mind whenever you are experiencing anxiety attacks. During the attack, we usually lose our mind. Try reconnect to your mind and keep telling yourself that everything will be okay, that what is happening to you is induced and not pathological. If you can successfully reconnect with your mind, you will be able to calm yourself a little bit before seeking the company of loved ones or support groups. You will be amazed on how great it is to reconnect with your mind during anxiety attacks and how important being surrounded by loved ones is.
