Well that depends on YOU! I found YOGA to be amazing. It teaches mind, body control and teaches you to be in tune with each one. It can be done by ANYONE. I am short and chubby, far from the perfect shape. I do it well enough. I suggest NOT hot yoga, you will create enough heat as it is. I also find things that keeps your hands moving and your mind not too busy. For instance, knitting. There are many studies that suggest you get in a relaxed state and stay there without even knowing it. Personally I like to read. Not I make sure I choose things that are NOT DEEP THINKING. The idea is to let the mind flow, not put it through more hurt! SO anything you enjoy, do it and do it well!

For me reading is really great, and also walking! Going out helps you think clearly, and reduce anxiety! Also your favorite sport! If you play any instrument, or sing, that's probably help a lot too!

Any physical exercise! It's healthy, and it's also very good for your mind. It also takes some focus, of course. Regular exercise is very good, not only for your body but also for your mental health.

Personally I find music and art and baking to be great distractions as you have to use all your focus and in the end you get a beautiful product.

For me, reading was always the best getaway. I'd read for as long as I could, losing myself in the world between the pages. I always encourage people to take up reading. Books can be your best friends. Besides, music is always an option. never underestimate the healing power of music.

Reading a book or listening to music often helps soothe the mind. Maybe text or call a friend if needed

I've found that writing is a good outlet for me when I'm feeling anxious, or just having a conversation with somebody that I know and like. Art can also be a great distraction, or music. The worst thing to do is bottle it up, so any way that you're releasing your anxiety is good!

Exercise! If it's a brisk stroll or a full out hardcore run or workout, just go for it. I feel so much better after working up a sweat after feeling my anxiety come on. (I also recommend listening to some really upbeat music, whether it's heavy rock, house, dubstep, pop.. seriously helps letting loose)

You could go for nice long walks, listen to music and watch movies that you really enjoy. It also depends on the type of person you are.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
