No, not at all! My anxiety's symptoms can be anything from feeling jittery and nervous, to sometimes feeling full-on panic. But I just always keep in mind that my anxiety is just something my body does to cope. It doesn't mean that I'm crazy/mental at all.

Having anxiety does not mean you're crazy or mental. It just means you're human. No one should look down on themselves because they have anxiety.

Having anxiety definitely does not mean you are crazy or mental. All of our brains work in different ways, and those of us with anxiety just have a brain with a slightly different function. It communicates fear and panic to us, when we have no reason to be feeling it. But it is still a legitimate feeling. Thus, you are not crazy in any way, I promise.

Of course not! Anxiety is a thing everybody has. Some people experience it more and some less. It can occur in certain situations or even when nothing is happening. It can be challenging and limiting but it absolutely does not make you "crazy" or "mental". If you think you're experiencing more anxiety than you feel you should, you can always talk to somebody about it, whether it's friends, family or even a professional. :)

No it definitely does not. Every single human being gets anxious at some poing in their lives. But that doesnt mean that we are all crazy. It only means sometimes you get effected worst than others do and thats ok. Dont be ashamed of it.

The definition of anxiety is "a state of uneasiness or tension caused by apprehension of possible future misfortune, danger, etc; worry". So it's a state, just like happiness... Unless you are suffering from a anxiety disorder (getting anxious in fear of becoming anxious) it is a very normal reaction towards some impulse. There are countless reasons that can cause anxiety, financial stress, general uncertainty, feeling unprepared, etc... Any of those can trigger anxiety, you can learn to manage them. Mindfulness is a great start because it might allow you to be more accepting towards the general uncertainty's that come with life. Now, if you do have an anxiety disorder (a rather common disorder), mindfulness can also help. Some people can overcome a anxiety disorder without guidance and for those who need a helping hand, most therapists will be well educated on the topic of anxiety. (because it is so common)

Absolutely not. Anxiety is a mental illness, but it does not make you any less of a person than you would be without anxiety.

Nope.
Crazy/mental is like climate: it's there, and only extreme events can change it.
Anxiety is just bad weather.
The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
