Generally, yes. It's either through genetics or from learned behaviour. It doesn't always mean family members will definitely develop anxiety though, it can just increase the likelihood.

It can. I'm not actually positive if this is a biological process or a environmental one, but if you grow up with a parent who has anxiety, as a child you likely pick up on that and learn that system of reacting to problems.
