Does anxiety ever entirely go away?

For some yes, for others no. Anxiety is, put simply, worry and unease. If we deal with the worry and unease, we no longer suffer with anxiety. A lot of people are never "cured" of anxiety disorders, because they are just that. Anxiety is a natural thing. If we have a mental health disorder that causes our anxiety act unusually, perhaps the best thing we can do is to stop anxiety from affecting our lives, which is "just as good"

Of course not, that's why there is good anxiety! The jitters you get, and butterflies in your stomach; treat them not as a symbol of fear, but as a recognition of your strength. They are a reminder that you can overcome anything you truly set your mind to, as long as you are willing to try.

It depends on what kind of anxiety you have. An anxiety disorder never entirely goes away, but can be managed to a greater extent to allow what you could, for lack of a better term, call "normal" functionality. Some situations might always trigger the anxiety, but the more healthy coping mechanisms you have that work for you and that are available to you, the less of a roadblock it will become.

Some of the anxiety will go away but it doesn't just go away. It is a process that you need to work on. There can be many things that trigger anxiety symptoms, so it is a work in progress. The symptoms can be managed or be worked on to be less.

Well as far as I know anxiety doeant completely go away. And losing anxiety completely that is to zero level is not safe.. we wont work properly if thats the case. We always need an optimum level of anxiety to function properly.

A little bit of anxiety is good, as it is what drives motivation and subsequent accomplishments. It can be crippling, however, if levels are too high. In short, it is not beneficial for it to entirely subside, but eventually with the right behaviors, will reduce to a healthy level.

I believe it can, but unfortunately not for everyone. Just like how each and everyone of us is unique and different; anxiety is different for everyone too. Some people can overcome it, some sooner than others, and some people can never get rid of it. However, that doesn't mean that they can't live the way they want to. Each of us is given a choice and that includes having the courage to just push anxiety aside and take a step forward.

For myself no. There is always some sort of anxiety there for me. The severity of it depends on what I'm doing and how I'm feeling.

It totally can. The first step to making it entirely go away is believing that it will eventually go away.

The Facebook "Seen" message gives me a lot of anxiety! When I see that the person has "seen" the message, but does not reply, I start thinking about all the possible reasons why they would 'ignore' me... Does anyone else feel this? If so, how do you cope?
