You can change your thinking by changing your perspective. Addictions are there to serve a purpose, they are meeting a need you have. When you find something else to meet that need, the addiction falls away. Your body is just trying to meet your needs, it just can't tell good from bad.

Addiction is part of you. You can't think of it as some monster trying to get you. It's a part of yourself that you can overcome.

Well first of all changing your mindset from looser/victim to winner is not an easy task, but it's a must. You have to really search deep inside of yourself to know why you have an addition in the first place. After you find it, you have to realize that you are the only one to blame, you have to take responsibility for your own decisions. Stop blaming others or situations for your addiction. Take back your power and confidence, believe in yourself and focus on the positive. Be grateful for what you already have and good things will definitely happens. Conquering addictions is far from easy , but focus on the prize of being free, that's the most empowering thing you will ever experience.
