You might be depressed. You might be stressed out. You might be not getting enough exercise.
If you are taking medication, this could be a side effect.
In any case, if you are sleeping way too much, you should consult a professional to find out why this might be.
You're trying to avoid life and you don't see a meaning in it. You would much rather spend time in bed alone without having to leave it. It could also mean that you are anxious about having interactions with other people.

Your body needs more recovery, may it be from physical, mental, or emotional stress, or from illness. Listen to your body and reward it with the sleep that it needs.
It could mean many things. People sleep a lot when they are exhausted; physically ill; stressed or depressed to name but a few. It may be worth seeking advice from a health care professional if you are worried, as it really isn't a simple answer. I would tend to avoid 'googling' the answer as you may worry yourself unnecessarily. I hope that you find your answer :)
It could indicate depression sometimes, but most of the time it indicates that you just have too much free time! Find something exciting in your life and it will be solved!
It could mean that probably your organism needs more vitamins or much more relaxation and less pressure in your daily routine.
Personally, I love sleep. I think sleeping is great, sometimes a great way to escape some of the realities of the world and let the mind wander off and dream in peace.
Physically - when I sleep too much, I end up feeling even more tired and subsequently try to sleep more to work it off, which I don't think works very well.
Emotionally - I choose sleep because it seems to lay things to rest. Give the soul a break.
Sleep doesn't kill you but perhaps there might be something that makes you want to sleep a lot?

Sleeping too much is a common symptom of depression. Many people mistake depression as feeling 'low' though most depression is in the form of over-sleeping, eating less and not taking care of one's self. In rare cases, sleeping too much also could mean a possible neurological disorder so please, make sure your physical health is stable as well as mental health!
Sleeping too much could either indicate that you have been lacking sleep lately or looking for an outlet away from reality. In other words escaping responsibilities and commitments because they might scare you or you have been under great stress lately and you just need to take a break from it all.
Sleeping too much could be a sign of depression. Try keeping a sleep journal to record your sleeping schedule. If this lasts more than two weeks, consider seeing a therapist for a professional inquiry.
It might mean that you're trying to avoid the bitter events around you or maybe you're just not well.

You might want to see if you're feeling depressed. This can be signs of many things such as health issues or mental health issues. It's always best to check with a professional to see what is going on.
First off all, everyone's body requires a different amount of sleep in order to feel healthy. For instance, I need 9 hours of sleep a night and my sister only needs 4-5. The first step is to identify what it means to sleep too much. If in fact you believe you are sleeping more than your body needs there are a number of reasons. Depression, low thyroid function, chronic fatigue syndrome all make it difficult for people to feel energized even after a full nights sleep. If in doubt, the best thing to do is see a general practitioner who can help identify any underlying causes.
First maybe I feel lonely or frustrated and exhausted. Should it make a record and analyze of something going abnormal
Sleeping too much can be an indicator of stress in your life - maybe it's time to think about some of the things making you unhappy - is it exam stress? Work stress, or home stress? Whatever it is, sleeping too much, while usually pretty good for your health, should be a little flag to what's going on in your mind.
Firstly, maybe you are actually really tired. In that case sleep helps you to recover faster.
If that's not the case, long periods of sleeping is known to be as a defense mechanism. If you experience anxiety, stress, hopelessness etc. - we tend to sleep more. At that moment it helps you to get through the day with out having to feel more stress, but in the long run it won't be as effective.
Sometimes, sleeping too much happens because we are overworking ourselves. School, work, and everyday life can just be exhausting! We can also get really tired if we're feeling depressed or anxious, so it's important to keep an eye out for those warning signs of possible mental health challenges!

Poor quality of sleep could be the culprit, what helps me improve my sleep is a mindfulness/ relaxation meditation right before bed and no looking at any kind of screen ( phone, tv, iPad etc) before bed. It could mean you are going through a sad moment. There maybe a medical reason and a doctor would be able to pinpoint that.

Sleeping too much can be for many reasons. You may be catching up on missed sleep, you could be depressed or unwell. I would suggest going to visit your doctor to discuss this, and so they can do some blood tests to rule out any medical reason. You can also try getting yourself into a routine - go to bed at a set time and and get up at a set time each day to train yourself to sleep bettef
Excessive sleeping can mean a lot of things, so it's best to narrow it down - are you not sleeping enough at night, and end up sleeping throughout the day? Or, do you sleep to avoid feelings that you're having? There are endless possibilities, but I really recommend speaking to your doctor.

Sleeping too much could be related to your physical, mental, or emotional health. An of example for each could be from being too physically active from the day of exercising or moving about without enough, or experiences in emotional and mental stress from work or school. It really depends. A good approach is to analyze your daily routine and determine how balanced is your physical, emotional, and mental healthy are.
you might feel that you don't have anything to do. I'd suggest get a hobby and wake up in the morning not late.

It could mean you're depressed, or it could mean there is something physically wrong with you that you'd need to see a doctor about, or it could be because of new medications you're on, It's hard to know for sure, so it is usually best to go and see a doctor about it if you are able to.
