Mostly, it has something to do with beliefs and religion. On other cases, they're just not used to it. I mean, we're very used to the concept of "There's always two sides of everything", so a couple of different sexes being together seems to be the most natural thing

Mainly due to culturally eradicated prejudice. They see reproduction as the only indicator of what a "normal" relationship is like and they reject everything else. Cultural prejudice can only be fought by spreading knowledge and awareness of the LGBT reality and what it means to be part of it. For any person who will reject us, there is someone who could listen to us, learn, open their mind. Not everyone is really intolerant, someone just was raised like this and never got the chance to expand their horizons. If we give people that chance to know and accept us, some may take it, and that would be a great victory worth all the effort!

I think some cultures have strict concepts of what sexual acts can be. Sharing love within the same sex is not a problem when there's no sexual act. It comes down to a deviation from what the majority does. Same sex love is a minority in this world and if we look across different spectrum of life, we see that the majority usually discriminate anything that doesn't goes with them. I think it's based on fear and a lack of understanding for things that are different.

some people just grow up that way and have different beliefs, but what matters is your beliefs not someone elses.

Some religions are strict because they feel the human race needs to evolve and have children so the world evolves and people will tell stories of the older decreased generatin so it brings me back to saying that in some religions they feel the need to have kids to remember the Stone Age

In some cultures same sex relationships are seen as not only morally wrong but also going against religion. It might be thought that they are going against god's will in some places or against what the Bible says. These people tend to have quite a closed mind, and may also reject those in other cultures as they do not believe in the same things that they do. In these cultures, people often grow up thinking that these relationships are wrong, or sinful, and are often taught about these 'sins' in school. However, these people may think about supporting such relationships but do not due to fearfulness and the chance of being excommunicated from their religion.

People have certain religious beliefs about two individuals from the seams sex sharing love which forbid it. Because it opposes the right nature of the human being. They don't think people of different senses are just the commonest thing they think it is the nature of humans. So they think anything but that opposes that nature some others see it as a different thing not common so they automatically think it is probably wrong.

I think it's because they were told that man only should love women and vice-versa but that's not true. Some cultures also think about next generation and they think that's not natural. As a Demissexual girl that's my experience.

Some cultures are sadly repressed and oppressed by ideologies that have existed only in recent human history. These 'dogmas', which were initially used to control and suppress people, has been abused and have lost any initial purity they may have been thought to hold. The act of sharing love between any souls, in any consenting and adult bodies, is beautiful and should be celebrated. This is our default setting as humans, to share love. To reject any people who share love, based on the direction they share it in, is fundamentally inhuman and as a result it will not persist. Culture will catch up eventually.

Not every culture is going to be accepting of everything. And this cannot be changed unless it is in them to accept what they do not understand. Same sex marriage is a difficult topic for many people to accept because that was how they were raised or put into their mind.

Maybe it's because they were taught so, either through religion or beliefs. But I personally think it's important to accept people's choice in gender preference and sexual identity.

Some people believe loving the same sex is wrong but its just their mindset which is wrong. They have a narrow mind and think its against religion to love the same sex but believe me there are more number of people who support it, me being one of them. Love doesn't depend on sex, religion or anything else.

Some cultures are highly religious and base their views around a religion, with the majority of religions dating back thousands/hundreds of years. Their holy books were written back when same sex love was not accepted, and these books are to many people the way to find the "correct" views. So when their holy book says no same sex love, that culture will reject people who do that.

Most Christians are strict with the Bible and believe love should be shared between a man and a woman

You should blame the upbringing, not the person. Anyone might turn out a homophobe in the wrong circumstances.

I honestly have no clue because every culture has some kind of recorded history of homosexuality, and it should therefore be accepted in every culture around the world.

Sometimes religion is a big thing. In that case many religions prohibit loving the same sex. When a lot of people in a region believe in that religion strong enough, most likely, they won't accept gay people. Another reason for some people is that it is against their beliefs of a normal relationship.

Due to religion, taboo, or it's disgusting to them. Usually because it's against the religion. But, many cultures are now understanding that it is right, and change their beliefs according to that.

Almost all cultures initially had strict gender roles. The roles are somewhat present in today's society, so many judge those that step out of them. Or, European colonialism led to negative views on homosexuality which still exist.

well, that's just because people of some culture have a mentality that God made two different genders to share love, and if people does not follow that then they are violating the will of nature.....but that is not true. Even science has proved that people attracted to same gender are normal. they have the same color blood as heterosexual people. These people just follow the thinking and mindset of their ancestors. And no one should be affected but that thinking of those people. you are totally normal, not against nature, and God does not hate you.....that's why he created you.

People are afraid of those who are different. I think that is why some people reject same same couples. It is different from what they know.
