There really is nothing to it. The actual point that one must remember is that '
you cannot be wrong'.
Mindfulness is a general term about simply being more mindful of experiences.
Meditation can help you become more mindful by training you to calm your mind.

You can find tons of usefull recourses online. On this very site even! For me yoga works, but it might not work for you. Try out different things, maybe even step outside of your own comfortzone. You might discover something amazing! If yoga is something that you are interested in I recommend doing some Youtube searching. There are a lot of interesting channels about how you can get started with yoga and meditation. I know yoga right now is mostly seen as a kinds of fitness (which it is ofcourse) but don't forget the spiritual side of it.

I took yoga classes for 4 years ( I live In India btw) but the world we live in today, it is just as easy to learn it online. Find a quiet room or open space and practice breathing exercises. After that you can try new poses like vajra asana. Meditation is essentially an internal thing- you trying to connect with your inner self and it can be achieved with sheer dedication and determination.
My meditation comes best to me in the shower or taking a bath. I am to let my mind relax and go to a peaceful place.

Write your feelings/thoughts down on a piece of paper & then, rip/burn the paper after you're done.
I've recently started looking into this myself on pinterest, youtube, and for podcasts. I've tried doing something a little bit every day. Having a clean place that is organized is a big thing. Extra clutter doesn't help. I've also thought about having a space that smells good. Try looking on pinterest, youtube, and maybe for some guided podcasts.
practise alone in a quiet and dark room with plenty of free space, I find that always helps me. calm music (YouTube it) and stay comfortable.
Relax, sit down and get comfortable. Breath in and out slowly, forget your troubles and shrug them off, listen to some relaxing sounds like wind blowing in the forest.

take 10 minutes, put away all distractions. Once you are settled and comfortable center yourself on one spot in the room and focus on your breathing, notice how your breaths enter from the tip of your nose and follow your breath to the bottom of your lungs

Sit alone in a quiet room without any noise and distractions, light candles or incense, or clear your mind of any thoughts. Relax your muscles and breathe in and out.
Take 5 minutes twice a day to do formal, sitting meditation in your home. This will help your mind to relax. And as for mindfulness, though it is hard to learn right away, do everything with care and you will see results. Your mood will begin to lift and you may learn more confidence. Good luck!
You can learn meditation and mindfulness easily with help from this website. Otherwise you can have a look on youtube etc too.
