Hi,My Mother does what my Step Dad says and always takes his side in everything,and even though I am a girl aged 16 he allows him to bend me over his knees and smack my bare bottom really hard Is this normal?

What can I do if my mother won't let me parent and takes control in all things concerning my child? She even becomes angry when I assert myself as his mother and I disagree which later escalates too far. I just need to let my mom know in a respectful way I am their mother.

Why doesn't my mom accept the way I am? Anything she doesn't like about me, she calls a phase. She's extremely sensitive with a narcissistic mother; I can't help but think she's a narcissist too.
