Perfect therapy for people who need help. I would like to say, I never can imagine it could be possible to heal people like that

I know that the decision to go to therapy can be a difficult one. I've been doing this for over a decade and I've worked with a lot of people who never thought they'd talk to

Your question is more like "How can I stop ED from making me starve myself". The reason you are starving yourself is because ED (the Eating Disorder demon inside your brain) is telling you to and you don't want to disobey him. There is only one solution to this: Fight back. Tell ED no, ignore him. You are stronger snd smarter than him. If this means eating a little bit each day, than that is a good start. It is okay to start off slow and work your way up to eating full meals each day. You can do this. Stay Strong!

I wanted to starve myself because I thought it would make me look pretty. I stopped wanting to starve myself when I noticed the dark circles under my eyes, the strands of hair that'd fall off in ugly bunches, and among all else, the tired eyes that would stare back at me in the mirror every morning. I found it the hard way that beauty is pain -- but that pain is post-workout soreness, not a churning stomach and nausea and constant exhaustion. I've tried both ways. Only one works -- and you don't need to count calories in order to see it.

This is a great question to ask, because it means you want help and that you want to get better. What really needs to happen here is you need to seek professional help to assist you in discovering why it is you want to starve yourself in the first place. Working past those emotional issues will make the food issues disappear.

Maybe you feel like you’re “fat” or “overweight” but don’t ever choose the option of starving yourself! Not only will this be extremely unhealthy but you will be sick and end up depressed. Im not saying don’t lose weight. if your not happy with your weight, go ahead on diets and exercise :), Choose the healthier option of eating the right foods instead of eating none at all and only do this because you want to. Don’t change how you look for other peoples sake! love yourself and take care of your body if thats what makes you happy ❤️

Make food your best friend. Changing the way we think about nutrition is crucial- because so many of us are numb when we eat. Eat mindfully, slowly and most importantly: listen to your body. How does it feel when I eat a nutritious, healthy meal vs. pizza? Another part of the struggle is that we fear that we loose control over food when we give in. Portion control is a way of learning what a right amount of food for you is, and to stick to it. For example, a big dinner plate filled with nutrtious food can be one serving of a meal. We need to experiment and listen carefully to what our body needs right that very mmoment. We are ever changing and it takes patience to keep the eye on the price- happiness with ourselves and our bodies.

Try to think of food as your friend. Think to yourself that it's not how much you eat, it's what you eat. Have a salad for a meal. Maybe some fruit for dessert. You'll be full, healthy, and it won't add any weight to your figure. Tell yourself that if you have a healthy diet, you can be nourished and have your ideal body.

It can be hard to come over ED. I have been through ED such as anorexia and binge eating and it hurts to see myself like that and it is really hard to get over. You shouldnt push your limits and try to eat little by little even if you feel like you shoudnt. Always remember that this is only about you and no one else. Your body shouldn't be critcised by the world and even if it is then you should always remember that you are more important. Going through starvation periods is very hard and sometimes you don't even feel hungry, but eating little by little and light things such as fruits and smooties or things you enjoy can make it easier

depends if you are in moody or your angry at someone or ..it depends on your current situation where you are in your appetite...and sometimes you just need to know when to eat but if you are stress....then its hard to get appetite back ..but maybe relax a bit and eat a bit ..

¿Tienes hambre? Come. No importa cómo te veas, siempre va a ser más importante tu "yo" interior. Y recuerda que, tú eres más importante que cualquier burla o insulto que tenga que ver con tu cuerpo. No te mates de hambre, no lo vales.
