Why can't I just feel happy?
Perfect therapy for people who need help. I would like to say, I never can imagine it could be possible to heal people like that

Happiness is a state of mind not a destination. It is not permanent it will come and go and you need to have low times to appreciate the high. The bad days will pass and cherish the good- you can be happy just believe it!

Sometimes it seems like happiness is hard to find. It's okay to feel this way, it always gets better.

You may be depressed, if you feel low continuously you may want to seek help from someone by just talking to someone or speaking to a counsellor or psychologist. But maybe before you do that, it could just be temporary so you may want to do something you like or a hobby, talk to a friend, go out, exercise or something.

Good emotions like happiness do not sprout randomly in your garden! You must cultivate it within yourself. Be open to try a more positive attitude and watch your overall happiness grow!

It is important to find happiness in the smallest of things present. A small act can bring you happiness.

Negative emotions attract a negative environment. Looking negatively at a situation, or every siltation, will make your miserable. You need to change your outlook alongside life style choices in order to improve.

Sometimes people struggling with depression do, indeed, ask themselves, why happiness just doesn't come. The answer is - depression is a medical condition which affects your body and your brain. to fight it you need to get professional help or, in cases of clinical depression, medication might be necessary. Reach out for help - no problem is too big or too small! I wish you good luck.

Nobody ever feels 100% happy. There are many theories to why we can't ever feel complete happiness, just enjoy when you feel mostly happy. Those are the best times to savor.

Depression likes to play a nasty trick on us. It takes motivation and joy from us and replaces it with anger and emptiness. It tricks us into thinking nothing matters now, and will never matter. You can't feel happy knowing that maybe the voice of depression is right. Maybe everything is pointless. I think we're all afraid of being happy because no one wants to go through it being taken away. Our hearts are big and are always hungry, so expectations keep rising, and nothing will ever be good enough. That's why we can't just feel happy.

Depression is an eye that you can see through it the world as its real face, you realize how corrupted the things and how fake the people are.. you finaly discover the fake happiness and you face the worst sadness, just a wasted youth and pretty lies hide that survivors is just who we really are..if you only want to take another "pretty lies" round then please let me tell to be one of the another happy survivors..

that depends on how you define happy , some people are naturally happy people and others need to work at it , this can be for a variety of reasons , not feeling fulfilled or content can leave people feeling unhappy with where they are at in life , sometimes their can be a underlying reason like undiagnosed depression and would need to be treated with medication

Happiness is relative, sometimes we all get down for one reason or another. Sometimes we are suffering from a depressive disorder, depending on your symptoms it is best to consult a doctor so you can feel better sooner !

You have to allow yourself to be, not just think it but feel it and let it incorporate throughout the day. Keep it simple and flexible and don't lead your expectations versus your reality, just be content and be grateful always for what you have and enjoy any challenges or changes that maybhappen along the way. ☺

It's okay not to feel happy all the time. Depression can be caused by numerous things. The most important thing is to take care of yourself, and reach out for support during those times of depression.

You can. Happiness and gratitude have been linked in recent studies. People who don't see what they have, will not be as happy, compared to someone acknowledging what they've acquired. In that sense, happiness can be all about perspective. You give someone with a loving family, and regular home, a dollar, their happiness will not be equal to giving a homeless person a dollar. If you look at your daily life, it can simply be you're happy that the bus driver waited the extra 5 seconds for you, or your teacher let you off for not doing your homework. These small gratitudes can equal up to a bigger happiness. You CAN feel happy, you DESERVE to be happy, and just a small change in perspective can allow you to feel happy. If in another case, it is depression, then it's much harder to do so, but possible. Gratitude is just one way.

You are probably feeling overwhelmed by the things that are going on. Take some time to relax and spend some time doing what you like.

Sometimes we get so used to feeling sad or lonely that we forget to let ourselves experience happiness. By accepting that we deserve to feel happy and not being too hard on ourselves ("I don't deserve to feel good") we can start to move forward.

Maybe there is something in your life holding you back. Maybe it's that one friend or the neighborhood you live in that's prevent you from being happy. You should reevaluate your life and eliminate anything that's holding you back from being happy

Life is not only about feeling happy. It is one of many emotions. It's natural to yearn for and want to cling to happiness. The more we can notice happiness without trying to make it stay, along with all the other range of emotions we will inevitably feel in a given day, the more at peace we feel with the flow of all things.

Happiness begins with accepting yourself and who you are. There aren't necessary "steps" for happiness, but you'll find it. Go on a self discovery, let go of all the stress, be who you want to be. Who you truly are.

There are many things in life that always seem to bring us down but we have to realize that life is too short to waist all our time worrying about things. You may feel unhappy because you're not reaching your full potential, we all matter and we all can do amazing things and the sooner you figure out what you excel at the sooner you will be happy.

Once, I just couldn't feel happiness. It was a really scary experience. Actually, I still do get this once in a while now. It's like I just don't see the meaning of living on, you know? But then sometimes you just got to ask yourself, "Why am I doing this to myself?" and thinking about it. Like they always say, life is too short, nobody wants to spend it feeling upset. The negativity can easily hide away the little things in life that brings happiness, and when you truly see happiness, it will be one of the best feelings to choose to live on. I hope everyone is able to see that one day.

If you don't feel happy with what you are now, find a new way to express what you feel. For me, that was writing letters to my friends.

Because you don't know what are the things you need in your life that can make you happy. Find somethig you can't lose. Not a person. Because people come and go. Find something that makes you happy that you can always do

unfortunately, it's not as easy as just feeling happy. you can be unhappy or something of the similar sort for plenty of reasons - a breakup, school, family, etc. it's definitely not your fault and something you should always work towards not putting yourself down for: after all, you have to take everything day by day and hope that tomorrow will be better.
