Just being there for them helps. The right tone is something that plays a important role for them to trust and open up. In turn helping themselves, which is what this service is all about.

Talk to them, listen to them. Show love and support to them.
By becoming a Listener here on 7 Cups you can help people online any day of the week. It really is a special place here, where we offer free help to those who need it most.
There is a certain limit on how much you can help someone, be it online or in person. That being said, it realy is not about how much or how you can help someone, more often than not all we need to have is the willingness to help others and that can be done in infinite number of ways. 7 cups is one way where we can extract the benefits of helping others. By being compassionate and empathetic for all the members here who want help. Sometimes all we need is a ear for our words. That i think can be done online as well.
Make them crack a smile! Be a friend! Make a conversation and be there for them! Get to know them!!!
Be there to help support and simply listen to them let them now you understand and care for them and that they are not alone!
all you can do is try just help with what you can understand and if you cant then just ask as many questions as you can
I can help people in need by offering them the support that they need, and by offering them a listening ear.

Be a listener here! :)
Helping the community may not always be making another seven cups! It can be as simple as taking care that no one in your social circle on the internet is getting bullied or slut shamed or abused in any sense.
You can help your juniors in school and at work to set up online in a safe environment.
You can make videos or post documents online raising issues about things that threaten the peace of your and our community.
Take care.
Cheers! :)

A great way to help people online is really just to be there for them. When they need your help, or they need to talk to someone, make sure you respond positively. Try to give them the feeling that they can always bounce up from a problem.

I've lived in many states and countries. I've walked with many individuals who I've both helped and learned from. Using these experiences, I believe that I can offer troubled individuals help through communication and problem solving.

Lend an open ear to them and if you are not able to help them yourself then either refer them to another listener or a hotline for their problem.
You can just talk to them and accompany them if you feel like they need it .
